Tom Clark is a postsecondary retention specialist with Kauffman Scholars, Inc. (KSI), an access, persistence and completion program funded by the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation. In his current role, Tom works collaboratively with his students to identify, implement and assess learning opportunities and supports critical to his student’s achieving overall postsecondary success.
Tom has held various positions with KSI over the years, including roles in the former middle school and secondary school teams. Prior to joining KSI back in 2010, Tom worked as an environmental scientist at TranSystems Corporation.
Clark earned his bachelor’s of arts in biology from William Jewell College and his master’s of science in natural resources from the University of Wisconsin – Stevens Point. In addition, he was awarded a certificate in sustainable food and farming from the University of Massachusetts – Amherst and completed a teacher certification program at Avila University.
